Fancy Lady Beau - April 18, 1990 - April 28, 2010
Fancy Lady Beau was euthanised due to complications arising from surgery to repair a rectal prolapse. She was heavy in foal with her eighteenth foal. On advice of our veternarian, we did not attempt to save the foal. "Roxy" is the first broodmare we lost that we have had this long. We purchased Roxy from Whitby Farms of Lucky Lake when she was four and a half months old and she remained with us until her death. Roxy had seventeen foals from seven different AQHA stallions including Zips Famous Amos, Zips Rio Dun [by Three Dimension Zip], and Zippo String [by Zippo Pat Bars]. We have two of her daughters in our band, Swift Lady Beau by Swift Midnight and Sudans Eyemjustakid by Docs All Dun Kiddin. Roxy was a quiet mare with a gentle nature that will be missed.
